Local account deactivation using Powershell

Hello Spiceheads,

I need to activate and deactivate a user account on a standalone Windows 7 Pro workstation, using Powershell. I can do this for AD accounts, but can it be done with a Powershell script that will prompt for the username and the expiration date and time?

I am very new to Powershel scripting.
