What I want to do is create a PowerShell script that will accomplish the following:
1. Retrieve the machine name, user name, and ping results from the client who runs this script.
2. Retrieve a specific file from that clients computer.
3. Compile the information retrieved from Step 1 into a table.
4. Email that table back to me (either inside the email or as an Excel Speadsheet, preferably in the email) with the retrieved file as an attachment on that same email.
I am brand new to PowerShell and this will be my first script ever! I am very excited to learn so please be gentle and take into consideration that everybody falls off the bike the first time they try to ride ;)
