Like so many of you, I dabble a bit in PowerShell and always keen to learn more. This week I am looking at DSC, especially the bits around finding resources and deploying them. The best way, going forward, of finding DSC and other resources is via PowerShellGallery, accessed from.Today, my quest was to find out what mechanisms might exist to manage local groups on a machine. I wanted to find modules (to manage) as well as to see if there any DSC modules to help deploy the solution.
To find things in the PowerShell Gallery, you can use the Find-Module cmdlet which returns details of modules stored in PowerShell Gallery.
